HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT
My approach is natural and documentary.
I will give simple prompts and direction, but I feel that my best work is captured during the quiet moments and in-betweens. Maybe not every hair was perfectly in place, maybe it’s a little blurry, but it happened, and that’s where the beauty of capturing images lives. We’ll listen to your favorite music, have easy conversation and give you space to let your love for each other tell the story.
I understand that choosing a photographer for any stage of your life is an intimate and vulnerable experience, and I want you to feel completely comfortable with me. My goal is for you to feel loved and cared for every step of the way, and to know that your wedding day, your love story, your family, is truly important to me and I’m honored to document it.

Here's how it works...
After you inquire through my website, I’d love to schedule a call so we can get to know each other, answer your questions, and talk through your wedding-day vision. My hope is that connecting first helps you feel comfortable with me and with the entire process.
Once you decide we're the perfect fit (yay!), I’ll send over a contract and invoice. Once those are complete, we’ll set a date for your engagement session. I'll want to see your Pinterest board (yes girl) to understand your vision, and we can collab on one together. I’ll send a questionnaire a few months ahead of your date to begin building your photo timeline.
We’ll then FaceTime to go over everything together, and I’ll check in again a week or two before your session or wedding. If this sounds like what you're looking for in a photographer, I’d be so honored to work with you!

I think growing up on a farm, running around barefoot, chasing sunsets and dreams, gave me the love and appreciation I have for taking things slow. I’ve always sought the profound in the ordinary. Truthfully, my approach isn’t for everyone. I like to take my time with you, and if you’re looking
for a photographer just to check off a box, I’m probably not for you. If you want someone who will encourage you to take your wedding day as slowly as you can, who will be there from the beginning of the day to the end, and who will feel like a friend throughout the process, I’m the photog for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
I typically finish wedding galleries in about 2 months during busy season and engagement/couples/maternity sessions in about 1 month. My contract allows me up to 12 weeks for weddings and 8 weeks for all other sessions.
Your girl loves to keep her finger on the shutter. Typically, this equates to about 100 photos per hour, or 150+ photos for engagement/lifestyle sessions and 800+ photos for weddings.
Usually about 2 hours!
Yes I do! I have packages for in-state weddings and sessions as well as travel weddings and sessions, and both include travel costs. No need to ask me what mileage will be.
Essentially, it's just as it sounds. After documenting weddings for 4 years, I found most of my couples really desired photography for their entire day. It always broke my heart to see couples have to compromise and change things around to allow for the time I had with them. It varies by day, but I arrive in time to capture your hair+makeup and details, and will head home after you’ve done your formal exit. If you’re not doing one, we’ll talk a few months prior when we go over your timeline and decide what feels good to you.
