Intimate sunrise elopement in Yosemite

When Cheyenne told me her plans to elope in Yosemite National Park, she said she and Alex both liked animals more than people so the traditional wedding route really wasn’t for them. The two of them gathered with a handful of their closest family members just after sunrise near the banks of the Merced River as Yosemite Falls roared in the background. Their first look at Tunnel View was truly magical, and 100% worth waking up at 2:30 a.m. to capture. This is a morning I’ll cherish being part of forever.

Here’s a little peek at their story.

The bride’s dad snuck in and surprised her after the first look :’)

After they exchanged vows, we ran around the valley floor until we were literally exhausted and half of us fell asleep on the way back to the Airbnb. 100/10 morning.

"I still can’t get over how happy our photos make me. I was drawn to the way her photos look natural and candid, and her energy and enthusiasm helped us get the photos we dreamed of. Her eye for the perfect shot and focus on the little things stood out to us. Our life has been so crazy and looking back on those memories from our wedding day made me so, so happy. We’re so thankful for her and her awesome talent!
